After my birthday dinner--YummyThis past weekend I flew home with Andrew to take a look around his stomping grounds. He was appalled that this would only be my 2nd time in the great state of California! I've gotta say--it's growing on me.
We stayed with his parents--who are awesome, by the way--in their cute little beach cottage. It was a weekend of record breaking heat and I was basically melting the whole time, but I think I lost a few pounds, so hey!
Despite the heat, I loved the area and all it had to offer: Disneyland, the good food, the beach, and most of all, the fun people I got to meet and see. I celebrated my birthday out there and everyone treated me so special! It was great. His family and friends are amazing and I feel so so lucky to be joining such a fun little clan.
The only bad things about the trip: Andrew's sis, Katie, and her family were out of town! AND coming back to reality and work in Utah! Hopefully another trip will be coming in the future.

you look so adorable!!! I am jealous that you and Andrew get to be together! Anyway, Happy Happy Birthday! You are now 22 and older and wiser and engaged. wow, crazy to remember how we were talking at the beginning of the year that we didn't know how things would turn out, and look where we are! I am so happy and excited for you!
