For a ward activity this past weekend, we had a big "date" to the Manti pageant. We had never been so we figured it would be a good time--which it was! We rode up with our friends Tyler & Shelly and got a "homemade" turkey dinner at a chapel in Manti before the pageant. Suprisingly, it was delicious...definitely comfort food!
The pageant was really good and it was neat to see so many LDS people gathered together. That always is an amazing sight to me. There were quite a few protesters there before, which we proceeded to make fun of before the show. It was a beautiful night, the mosquitos were biting, and the show was outdated but enjoyable. A good time was had by all :)

oh.. the manti pagent!
I remember going as a teenager, it is so nice to be outside and watch the pagent with the beautiful temple in the background. I LOVE the manti temple! I wanted to go back before we left but we never made it down there. It holds a special place in my heart becuase both my parents, grandparents and great grandparents were married there and that is where I took out my endowments.
Anyway... you guys are SOO cute and I can't wait for you to get married.
ps. when are you coming to Cali?
manti in the nutshell for the record: cooking, quilting, caring, and christ.
I hope you got my message and had a great birthday! I love you!
