The resort we stayed at was absolutely beautiful and had an array of perks--instant beach access, an endless supply of my fav drinks (diet Coke w/lime & Pina Coladas), incredible food, excellent service, and NO work!
My entire family went, including the three grandkids, and it was great to be all together. We hit up a different restaurant every night, died of heat while visiting some Mayan ruins, and even snorkeled with some barracudas and jellyfish! And it was incredibly humid--reminded me of my old home of Florida. So, it was quite an adventure, but after a week, I was glad to return home to the comforts of the USA and the company of my fiance :)

But we were so excited to go to Mexico, that we woke right up!
