So, this week was exciting for two reasons--I finished my finals (hallelujah!) and started a new job (not hallelujah, but still fun). Finals went alright; I probably could have tried a little harder, but I was at the end of a short rope and just ready to be done!
The new job is going just splendidly. I am working as a Nurse Assistant for a general surgeon here in Provo. It's fun to actually use some of the stuff that I have learned it school! I work with two much older ladies, so I like to think I'm going to spice the place up a bit. And, it's also fun to dress up in cute scrubs :) I have learned one thing though; when you wear scrubs, people think you know everything about health and medicine. I have gotten some insane questions--which I will spare you all from hearing--that have really opened my eyes to how much I still have to learn! But still, it's pretty cool to be trusted in so much :)
In addition to my cute scrubs, my nice significant other bought me some Crocs shoes to complete the outfit. I swore I would never wear Crocs like all nurses usually do--I don't like the holes, they look like clogs, etc. BUT, little did I know, they now come in different styles to fit the needs of the more fashion-conscious population :) So, here is a pic of the ones I got, and I have to admit they are VERY comfy. They practically mold to my feet. So cute.
And last random though: I was browsing for bathing suits online today (it IS that time of the year, even though it DID snow today...hmm). I found some really cute ones on the Urban Outfitters site. They've got an old-school style to them that I just love. So, I am glad that's coming back. I think I'll get one and hope it looks as good on me as the model!

Okay, I love those swimsuits. I hope won't be so huge by August so I can wear one when we go to Mexico. You will have to tell me where to find them. Thanks again for babysitting and don't forget hair appt on Tues : )
